Playing around with some cardboard box

I thought I would try to make like a long tube out of the box to view the night sky. Like a poor man's telescope (or maybe more like a scope).

This is what I did.

But it's not dark out yet, so I stuck my Canon PowerShotA700 into one end and pointed it the sky and it looked like this...
